BAY COUNTY RED ADVANCES AFTER DOWNING GIJON SPAIN 5-3

Bay County Red continues in the 2024 Pony League World Series by defeating Gijon Spain 5-3. Bay County was in control but did allow Gijon a 3-run home to cut the lead. Bay County tighted up their defense and stoped Gijon down for the rest of the game. Next up for Bay County Red is a 12:30 P.M. game against Washington County PA on Monday, August 12. 

Bay County Red's record is now 1-1 for the event.
