OVERALL STARTS OFF WITH SOME GREAT GAMES

Sunday's action at Coryell Field had some interesting games. All 4-games saw something different with some big scores and some nail biters in the seventh inning.

The first game of the day had Village Green handling Shirts Mugs & More 11-0. The game saw solid play from Village Green though Shirts Mugs & More did give them a little trouble. Village Green advances in the Winners Bracket and will play LeBourdais Orthodontics Tuesday June 28 at 5:30 p.m.

Next up for Shirts Mugs & More is a game with Elks Lodge #88 at 5:30 today. Elks Lodge #88 dropped a heartbreaker to LeBourdais Orthodonics 7-6. Though they did force some runs in the bottom of the seventh but came up short in the end.

Knochel Oil Company came out on top against St. Stanislaus A.C. by the score of 15-14. The games saw both teams putting runs across the plate. Knochel Oil will advance in the Winners Bracket Tuesday, June 28 at 8:00 p.m.

The nightcap on Sunday saw Bay City Lions Clubs hammering Williams Cheese 19-5. Bay City Lions Club will advance into the Tuesday 8:00 game against Knochel Oil Company.
