DAN REVETTE INDUCTED INTO THE BAY COUNTY SPORTS HALL OF FAME!

The 2020 Inductees into The Bay County Sports Hall of Fame were announced on Sunday, May 17, 2020. Coach Dan Revette has been inducted in the Class of 2020. The Bay County PONY League is proud to have called Dan a Member, a Coach and a Manger with our League for a long time. He was always a part of the organization beyond just coaching. He was in a lot of cases the face of the League. He also was part of keeping Coryell Field ready to play on.

PONY Baseball awarded Dan the "Joe E. Brown Award" that was so richly deserved. He was a friend, not just to us but ALL Sports organizations in the Bay County Area. From Football, Basketball and Baseball and a few we didn't know about. Whatever the sport he was there, even just to watch a game as a fan. We would see him around Coryell Field, with his wife Jill, just enjoying it all and of course sizing up his next All Star Team.

Players were always stopping and talking to "Coach Dan". Letting him know what they were up to, and even asking for some advice on something. With his All Star Teams every season he would play "I Am The Greatest" by Kenny Rodgers with his team. He believed in them and they believed in him.
