BAY COUNTY RED IS IN THE BIG SHOW!

The Bay County Pony League All-Star Team BAY COUNTY RED is set to face off against CHINESE TIAPEI. The Championship game is schedule for a 7:00 p.m. start at Lew Hayes Field in Washington PA. The League has placed a team in the World Series 13 times over the years starting way back in 1983.

Tonight we have a team that will play in the Championship Game to become a World Champion. The League Members, Managers, Coaches, Parents and Players should all stand tall, and very proud. It isn't easy to achieve. The work and dedication by the Bay County Red Manager Jim Butts and Coaches Rick Sella and Daryl Schular have worked hard to get this together. First the tryouts then the selection process.

The Players Nathan Ball, Ethan Burrows, Maxwell Fellows, Jace Giffel, Colton Hopp, Lucas Julian, Kegan LaPan, Leland O'Leary, Aidan Robinson, Cole Schmidt, Devin Schular, Landon Sella, Camron Shooltz, Ben Sporman, and Miles Yurgaites. Have put in the practice time, the warm up games, the time to learn and listen.

When ALL these individuals take the field at Lew Hayes Field they take the dreams of every person who has ever played, coached, cheered or followed their children, and grandchildren in this League. This is the ultimate stage, the end of a long drive. This is what the League was founded on, to play the game, to follow the Rules. To dream the dream and above all to have fun.

No matter the result from this game this team will hold its head high. You are the best of the Bay County Pony League in 2019!
